Presentation of "Eurasian Film Market" project was held today at the Press Centre of VII Kazan International Muslim Cinema Festival. Strategic directions of cinema market’s activity are Europe, Asia and Latin America.

It was decided that “Eurasian Cinema Market” will take place within the frames of Kazan International Muslim Cinema Festival. According to organizers, the main factor influenced on this decision was a historical location of Kazan and the Republic of Tatarstan at intersection of all trade and cultural ways between the East and the West.

«Certain pictures of certain producers are dominated throughout the world. The representatives of various countries have one pain, namely, the development of the national cinematography and launching to the international market ", - stated in his opening word Vladimir Batrakov, director of “Tatarkino”. He regretfully stated the fact that a lot of good movies are not released in Tatarstan.

Презентация проекта «Евразийский кинорынок» состоялась сегодня в пресс-центре VII Казанского международного фестиваля мусульманского кино. Стратегические направления деловой активности кинорынка – Европа, Азия, Латинская Америка.

Today Press Centre of VII Kazan International Muslim Cinema Festival organized a creative meeting with a well-known European cinema critic and culture specialist Vera Langerova (Czech).

Vera Langerova is a prominent cinema expert, a journalist and a writer. During last several years she worked as a consultant of International Cinema Festival in Karlovy Vary, one of the most prestigious European cinema forums.

VII Kazan International Muslim Cinema Festival started the major work on September, 8: screening of competitive programme was launched. Today 5 features and 12 documentaries from Iran, UAE, Bangladesh, Egypt, China, Germany, Bahrain, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan and other countries were submitted to approval of the experts.

The fate of the prizes for the best screenplay, camera work, directing, best actor and actress will be determined by the competent jury headed by Vladimir Khotinenko. Let us recall that among the jury members of the VII Kazan International Muslim Cinema Festival are Tunisian writer and director Naser Khemir, Turkish actor Necati Shashmaz, writer and scriptwriter from Jordan Abbas El-Arnaout, Iranian director Tahmine Milami, Russian film expert Natalya Lukinykh, director Farid Bikchantaev (Russia, Tatarstan).

Demonstration of films and work of the jury became the main, but not the only "trend" of the day. Meetings with the Festival’s guests, well-known Russian actors Armen Dzhigarkhanyan and Lydia Fedoseyeva-Shukshina took place in the Press Centre. The reporters also talked to the filmmakers - directors Habibullah Bahmani (Iran), Mohammed Ramadan (Egypt), Ahmed Zaini (UAE), Abu Sayeed (Bangladesh), etc.

Natalya Lukinykh and Valentin Telegin’s workshop, a round table covering issues of cinematography development in the world were conducted in Kazan Institute of Culture and Arts.

The third Festival’s day ended – VII Kazan International Muslim Cinema Festival passed over its “equator”.

9 сентября в 15.00 в Пресс-центре VII Казанского международного фестиваля мусульманского кино состоится презентация проекта «Евразийский Кинорынок», основной миссией  которого  является превращение России в площадку для глобального  сотрудничества продюсеров и дистрибьюторов мирового киносообщества. По мнению организаторов презентации, евразийский кинорынок – это настоящая сенсация.

Начинается аккредитация журналистов на церемонию закрытия VII Казанского международного фестиваля мусульманского кино, которая состоится 11 сентября в КРК «Пирамида». Начало церемонии в 18.45, звездная дорожка перед входом будет работать с 18.00.

9 сентября в актовом зале Казанского театрального училища состоится творческая встреча с актрисой Лидией Федосеевой-Шукшиной. У поклонников актрисы есть уникальная возможность пообщаться со звездой российского кино: на встрече в Пресс-центре VII Казанского кинофестиваля Федосеева-Шукшина рассказал, что много лет не дает интервью и избегает общения с журналистами. Начало мероприятия в 17.00, вход свободный.

9 сентября в 13.00 в Пресс-центре VII Казанского международного фестиваля мусульманского кино состоится творческая встреча с известным киноведом, «ходячей энциклопедией кино» Сергеем Кудрявцевым.

9 сентября в Пресс-центре VII Казанского международного фестиваля мусульманского кино состоится творческая встреча с известным европейским кинокритиком и культурологом Верой Лангеровой (Чехия). Начало мероприятия в 11.00. Пресс-центр КМФМК расположен на третьем этаже ТЦ «Сувар-Плаза» (Спартаковская, 6).
