The accreditation of the representatives of mass media for VI Kazan International Festival of Muslim Cinema coverage is going on.

VI Kazan International Festival of Muslim Cinema will be held in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan from the 15^th to the 16^th of September. This year it will have another name. Kazan left the brand “Golden Minbar”.  However, the preparation for cinema-forum is going on. It is expected to be of the high level. The members of selection committee summed up their activity. Both of them – British director Ovidio Salazar and Egyptian script-writer Amr Samir – became the guests of studio of Information Agency “Tatar-inform” and told about their activity. The director of Kazan International Festival of Muslim Cinema, Vladimir Batrakov also took part in the meeting. Leisan Abdullina was leading the conference.

In the competitive program VI Kazan International Muslim Film Festival, 9 Tatarstan films were selected out of 20 applications. It is four times as many as there were last year.

Press-conference on the resume of selection committee of VI KIFMC will be on the 2^nd of August at 11 a.m. at the Information Agency “Tatar-inform” by the address 2 Dekabristov Street.

From the 15 to the 19 of September the  VI International Festival of Muslim Films (KIFMF) under the motto: "Through the dialogue of cultures to a culture of dialogue" will take place in the capital of Tatarstan.

By this day 59 countries have presented their applications to VI Kazan International Muslim Film Festival.

VI Kazan international festival of Muslim cinema  will be held in Kazan from the 15^th of September to the 19^th of September in 2010.
