Was born in 1956 in Alexandria (Egypt). He is the Graduate of the Institute of Architecture in Alexandria.

Assaad Taha is the general manager of the company «Hot Spot», which was founded in Dubai in 1999, the Company was named in honor of its successful program «Noqta Sakhena» («Hot Spot»), which was broadcast on Al-Jazeera in 1997.

Assaad Taha has had a long and successful career  as a journalist, reporter, war correspondent and documentary filmmaker.

His works were permanently printed in the international Arab press «El Madzhalla Al-Hayat and Al-Sharq Al-Awsat». He was a correspondent of Al-Jazeera channel and «Worldwide Television News Corporation» (WTN).
