Bolotbek Shamshiyev is the Laureate of Lenin Komsomol of Kyrgyzstan Prize for the film "A shot on a pass to Karash" (1969), Laureate of USSR State Prize for the film "White Ship" (1977), awarded with the title People's Artist of Kyrgyzstan (1975).
