Was born in 1946 in Semipalatinsk region. He graduated from  Semipalatinsk  mechanization school, Moscow Circus School, the acting faculty of the Soviet Union State Institute of Cinematography (workshop of Boris Babochkin) in 1974.

He acted in 60 films at 13 studios of the USSR, performed the representatives of seventeen nationalities.

He was awarded with the title of the Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He is a member of the Club of film philatelists in Erlangen (Germany).
