Over the years he worked in the «Illusion» cinema of State film fund; researcher of scientific-research institute of cinematography; editor and consultant of the channel Ostankino, editor in chief of distributing corporation «Skip-film»; editor and consultant services of screening of cinema corporation «TV-6»; worked as a principal, then the consultant of the program «Parade of Festivals» (1993-94. «Ostankino»), co-writer and presenter of the program «Kinomaraphon» (Film Marathon) (1995-96., RTR). Since 1999 – program director of the International Film Festival  «Kinotavr» .

His articles and reviews were Published in magazines: «Iskusstvo kino» (The Art of Cinema), «Sovetskyi aekran» (Soviet Screen), «Seans» (Session), «Mneniya» (Opinions), in the newspapers: «Aekran i stzena» (Screen and Stage), «Literaturnaya gazeta» (Literary newspaper), «Kultura» (Culture), «Nezavisimaya Gazeta» (Independent newspaper) .

Starred in such films as: «Countdown» (2004), «Bumazhniye glaza Prishvina» (1989), «Concerto for a Rat» (1995).
